「First of all, We are not stealing. We are selling the service. We are going to take all the risk of our customers. If our customers doing it them self, they have to take all the risk their own. If their iPhone have problem in the process, what can they do?Get it back to Apple?Apple will not accept warranty…
So…they chose us to help them finish the unlock or jailbreak, if iPhone isn’t work before that, we will fix it in free or change a new one for them. After that, they can ask us if there is any question.
Moreover, We have to spend time to help our customers finish the process…and finish the question…then how can you said that we are stealing??
P.S. We have thanks to the great Dev Team every time too….
P.P.S. We are not selling the software…」
「“Everyone knows the software is free Dan! They choose to pay for our service. Why would I spend money advertising and then point people to a different location? It just doesn’t make commercial sense! I pay
around £8.00 to secure each customer in marketing and advertising, then to have them go to a different location is madness. We simply wouldn’t exist and our funds would run out in no time.
People pay their money and they take their choice. If they want support from a forum, they get that free.
If they want support from a technician at the end of the phone or in-store, they pay us.
Its simple, and I’m sick of people berating us for it when there are far more shady outfits.
The dev team have threatened a law suit and I hope it goes ahead, as they don’t have a chance.
Maybe morally its slightly unethical but commercially I can’t do it any other way. Can you not understand that? And legally – well its watertight. The source for yellowsn0w is released so its open source, can do what the heck we like with it.
